Giving birth can be a challenging and traumatizing experience, particularly for women from marginalized or low socio-economic backgrounds. It can increase the challenges of caring for a newborn baby, erode a new mother’s confidence, and, as such, affect attachment.
As part of our community social responsibility, Premier Credit was pleased to support the mothers who were in need and medical staff in the maternity wing of Kasese referral hospital with much-needed hygiene necessities. With this donation, mothers can not worry about these and now concentrate on the child and ensuring the baby is in great health. We hope to support more CSR next year that focuses on mothers and children.
